What should you redact?
Redact anything that could identify a person, account, location, device, or private conversation. Common examples include full names, email addresses, phone numbers, street addresses, QR codes, serial numbers, API keys, order IDs, and financial details.
For highly sensitive data, use black or white boxes rather than blur. Blur can sometimes leave readable shapes when text is large or high contrast.

Is my image uploaded for redaction?
No. The image is processed locally in your browser and is not uploaded to ImageConver.
Is blur as safe as a black box?
For strong privacy, black or white boxes are safer. Blur is better for low-risk screenshots or visual context.
Can I redact more than one area?
Yes. Draw as many regions as needed, undo the last region, or clear all marks and start again.
