Choosing the right image grid
A 3×3 grid is commonly used for social profile layouts, while 2×2 works well for posters and simple puzzles. Use 4×4 or a custom grid when you need smaller pieces.
The splitter covers the complete source image even when its width or height is not evenly divisible by the grid. Edge tiles may differ by one pixel so no image area is lost.

Can I split an image for an Instagram grid?
Yes. Choose 3×3 to create nine numbered square-position tiles, then upload them to your profile in the appropriate reverse order.
Will the splitter crop my image?
The tool divides the complete image into the selected rows and columns. It does not crop away source pixels.
