Threshold Image Converter
Turn a photo or graphic into pure black and white pixels with an adjustable luminance threshold and optional inversion.
Upload an image to create a two-color black and white threshold result.
Pure black and white
Every visible pixel becomes either zero or 255 instead of grayscale.
Adjustable cutoff
Control which luminance values become white with a 0 to 255 threshold.
One-click inversion
Swap black and white without changing the source image.
How it works
- 1
Upload an image
Choose a photo, scan, logo, or graphic from your device.
- 2
Tune the effect
Adjust the main control and optional inversion or dithering.
- 3
Download PNG
Save the processed result at the source pixel dimensions.
Choosing a threshold level
Start near 128, then lower the threshold to make more pixels white or raise it to make more pixels black. High-contrast source images give clearer silhouettes, logos, and stencil-style results.
