When to use blur on an image
Blur is useful for soft backgrounds, privacy edits, screenshots, and product images where the subject needs more attention. Use lower values for subtle depth and stronger values when hiding sensitive details.
Focus blur works best when the subject is near the center of the image. For off-center subjects, crop the image first or use full blur for an even effect.
