Add Noise to Image

Create subtle film grain, digital texture, or high-contrast static with three noise models and an adjustable amount.

Upload a photo or graphic to add controlled digital noise or film-grain texture.

Three noise models

Choose natural Gaussian grain, evenly distributed variation, or isolated salt-and-pepper pixels.

Monochrome or color

Apply one shared change to all channels for film-like grain or independent RGB variation for digital color noise.

Fresh random patterns

Generate another arrangement at the same settings without reloading the image.

Choosing an image noise type

Gaussian noise produces clustered light and dark variation similar to sensor grain. Uniform noise spreads possible values evenly for a flatter digital texture. Salt-and-pepper noise replaces occasional pixels with black or white, making it useful for testing filters and creating rough static.

សំណួរដែលគេសួរញឹកញាប់

What is the best mode for film grain?

Gaussian noise with monochrome enabled usually gives the most natural film-like result.

Does noise change transparency?

No. The original alpha value of every pixel is preserved.
