Understanding image coordinate systems
Image coordinates usually begin at 0, 0 in the top-left corner. X increases toward the right and Y increases downward. Percentage coordinates are useful when an image may be resized, while exact pixels are better for fixed-resolution crops, annotations, and canvas drawing.
