How to build a balanced color palette
Use the darkest color for text, the lightest color for backgrounds, and one or two saturated colors for actions and highlights. Check contrast before placing text over a swatch.
Photo extraction finds frequently occurring color buckets, so simple images with clear subjects usually produce the most useful results. You can edit any extracted color before exporting the palette.

How does the image color extraction work?
The browser samples a reduced copy of your image, groups similar RGB values, and selects five frequent colors that remain visually distinct.
Can I lock colors before generating again?
