Why remove image metadata
Photos can contain hidden information such as camera model, capture settings, dates, software details, and GPS coordinates. Removing metadata is useful before sharing personal photos, publishing marketplace images, or sending files to people you do not know.
This tool creates a new image from the decoded pixels. The new file does not retain standard EXIF blocks from the original. Always keep the original file if you need its capture information later.
Často kladené otázky
Does this remove GPS location data?
Yes. The cleaned file is generated from visible pixels and does not copy the original EXIF or GPS blocks.
Will the image look different?
PNG is lossless. JPG and WebP use high-quality re-encoding and may produce a slightly different file size.
Je můj obrázek nahrán?
No. Your image stays in your browser and the cleaned copy is generated locally.
