Choose a desktop, mobile, app, dashboard, or support screenshot.

  2. 2

    Redact sensitive areas

Drag boxes over private text and use highlight mode only for safe context.

  3. 3

    Export a copy

Download a PNG or JPG image ready for tickets, docs, chats, or public posts.

Screenshot redaction checklist

Before sharing screenshots, check visible tabs, browser addresses, email addresses, names, avatars, account IDs, API tokens, customer records, invoices, file paths, Wi-Fi names, and notification previews. Also check browser autofill suggestions and background windows.

Use solid redaction for secrets. Blur and pixelation are useful for quick drafts, but solid boxes are the safer choice for credentials and private records.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use this for support tickets?

Yes. Redact private details first, then attach the cleaned screenshot to a ticket or chat.

Should I blur passwords or cover them?

Cover passwords, tokens, keys, and account numbers with a solid black or white box.

Is the screenshot uploaded?

No. It stays in your browser and the redacted copy is created locally.
